boba start opens a terminal UI with the full Boba agent: swaps across Solana, Ethereum, Base and more, limit and DCA orders, Hyperliquid perps, Polymarket and wallet analytics.

If you'd rather bring your own agent, boba proxy runs a local MCP server that authenticates against Boba, and boba install wires it into Claude Code or Claude Desktop in one step.

Decisions

Go, not TypeScript

Most agent CLIs, Claude Code included, are TypeScript. I chose Go, for three reasons.

Automations. Strategies run unattended, often several at once. Goroutines make each one cheap, and a single compiled binary starts instantly and stays light in the background.

Charm. Bubble Tea, Lip Gloss and Glamour are the best terminal UI toolkit in any language. They make the TUI feel like an app, not a scrolling log.

Every provider, one interface. Charm's Fantasy and Catwalk handle every major inference provider out of the box. Switching models is configuration, not code.

What I built

  • Built in Go with Cobra and Charm's Bubble Tea, Lip Gloss and Huh for the interface.
  • Credentials live in the OS keychain, never in a dotfile.
  • Scheduled automations that run strategies unattended.
  • Shipped cross-platform on npm for macOS, Windows and Linux.
Switching between AI models from inside the Boba CLI
Switching models mid-session. Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen and Kimi all run through one interface.
