Swap aggregation
Races ~11 EVM providers and 5 Solana routers for the best quote.
- Stack
- PythonJupiterDFlow0xRelayLiFi
Every swap on Boba asks many routers for a quote at once and picks the best one. On EVM that's around 11 providers — 0x, Paraswap, Kyber, LiFi, OpenOcean, Relay and more — with a 500ms deadline; on Solana it's Jupiter, DFlow, Titan, Mobula and an on-chain PumpFun fallback.
Decisions
A hard 500ms deadline
A quote is only as fast as its slowest provider, so I capped it. Fast answers are collected, slow ones cancelled, and the quote returns early the moment every provider has answered.
Coverage beats speed
One Solana router won 0 of 90 quote races, and we kept it. It answered 22 requests that would otherwise have returned no route. Its job isn't winning; it's being the last provider standing.
What I built
- Dynamic platform fees based on market cap and user tier, with fee-free bridging and stablecoin legs.
- Uniswap V4 support alongside the aggregators, since new-chain liquidity increasingly lives in V4 pools.
- Server-side Solana quotes from DFlow and Jupiter at around 50–60ms p50.
- Every EVM quote is simulated with
eth_simulateV1before it's offered, to catch malicious and residue tokens, and transactions go out through a multi-builder fan-out with dynamic priority fees.
