Wallet & KOL tracking
1,567 smart wallets tracked, 100–200ms from onchain swap to client.

This started as a wallet tracker app I built for Whop communities in mid-2025: admins added wallets, and every swap they made posted to the community in real time. It became the first service in what grew into Boba's backend.
Decisions
One gRPC stream instead of a socket pool
The WebSocket monitor topped out at 5,000 wallets per connection and hit rate limits as Boba grew. I replaced it with a single Yellowstone gRPC stream through Triton: unlimited wallets per connection, no 429s, and lower latency on every transaction.
What I built
- The original Whop app: REST API, authenticated WebSocket feed, live trades table and wallet management, with load tests for the socket layer.
- Grew into Boba's tracker service: 7 chains, 50+ DEX routers recognized, and 100–200ms from an onchain swap to the client.
- Expanded to 1,567 tracked KOLs across Ethereum, BSC, Robinhood Chain and Solana.
- Event-driven hot-token rankings and a live smart-money flow feed that surfaces opportunities with a 60% hit rate.
